Allvac's standard raw material index (RMI) is published quarterly based upon the difference in the "Prior QTR's Cost" vs. "Base Cost" for the critical elements used in melting nickel, cobalt, and specialty steel alloys.

The current raw material indices are effective with shipments during the current quarter (Quarter 2, 2008) for standard products.
In order to estimate future raw material indices at various cost levels, please choose an alloy and enter your estimated cost per pound in the PRIOR QTR COST field and/or COST CHANGE field, then click the "Calculate" button. Click the "Reset" button to return values to the prior quarter's average cost.
* Note: For Nickel, a producer premium for Class I Ni is added to reflect the actual cost of Ni used in vacuum melting.
